Area Information

The Metolius Basin is an outdoor recreation paradise. At the center of it all is the cold, clean spring-fed Metolius River which emerges from the base of Black Butte and then flows north toward the Columbia. Hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking, bird watching, camping and nature enjoyment are just some of the many popular activities in which to partake.
